Dr. McNally shares office space with her sister, Doctor Shannon McNally an internest who specializes in Women's Health issues. Office space is located in the right rear building of the four building medical campus. Dr. McNally's medical practice is called "MV Medical LLC"

The Celiac Awareness Tour will take place at the Rocky River Civic Auditorium on Saturday, November 18th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Dr. McNally will lecture from 10:00 am to 10:45 pm.

Meredythe McNally, M.D., of Gastroenterology Associates of Cleveland was presented with the 2010-11 Resident’s Award for Outstanding Attending Physician by the Department of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic’s Huron Hospital on June 3rd, 2011.
This award is voted on by the internal medicine residents who are completing their residency at Huron Hospital and given to the most influential teaching attending physician over the course of the year. While the award recognizes a physician’s influence from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, the residents acknowledged the impact of Dr. McNally’s four months of instruction by electing her to receive this annual award.
McNally, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, attended the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. She went on to receive her internal medicine residency training and fellowship training in gastroenterology, both completed at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After achieving her Board Certification in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, she worked for Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, for two years and then relocated to Cleveland to work as a staff physician at the Main Campus of the Cleveland Clinic, specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disorders. Dr. McNally joined Gastroenterology Associates of Cleveland in August of 2009 where she specializes in women's gastrointestinal health issues, Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disorders as well as upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures. In December of 2010, Dr. McNally and Gastroenterology Associates successfully opened Youngstown Gastroenterology, expanding the practice’s office locations to include Beachwood, Garfield Heights and Youngstown.

On Wednesday, March 20th, Dr. Meredythe McNally lectured on the "Clinical Complications of Hiatal Hernia" at the Hillcrest Hospital combined Medical/Surgical Grand Rounds. Dr. McNally along with surgeon Joel Anderson, MD presented the clinical complications as well as the medical and surgical treatment of the various types of the hiatal hernias that can occur.

Gastroenterology Associates of Cleveland (GAC) is pleased to announce
the opening of its Youngstown location under the name Youngstown Gastroenterology. The office is located at 1450 S. Niles-Canfield
Road (Rt. 46) Youngstown, Ohio. Initially, Youngstown Gastroenterology will be seeing patients
on Mondays only.
Youngstown Gastroenterology will initially be staffed by Meredythe McNally, MD, who was born and
raised in Youngstown, attended Youngstown State University and graduated
in 2001 from NEOUCOM. Dr. McNally completed her internal medicine and
gastroenterology training at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, and began practicing with
Gastroenterology Associates of Cleveland in August 2009. Joining her in the Spring of 2011 will be Jeffrey Gellis, DO. Doctor Gellis completed his training in gastroenterology at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia and Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey.

"I would like to thank the staff of Gastroenterology Associates of Cleveland, particularly Dr. Mario Kamionkowski and his assistants, for taking such good care of me when I had to undergo a colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy on Jan. 20. One of his nurses gave me a heated blanket when I was cold. They were so full of life, funny and so easy to get along with. It truly made for what could have been a most unpleasant procedure a very tolerable one and actually fun."
